Romero's double-double lands him Player of the Week award

34-year old CUB-PURn center Ismael Romero (205-C-1991) had a very impressive game in the last round for second-ranked Meralco Bolts and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 5.
He had a double-double of 25 points and 28 rebounds, while his team crushed, the league's bottom-ranked team Macau BB (#4, 0-1) with 18-point margin 92-74. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Bolts is placed at 2nd position in East Asia Super League. Third place about best performers goes to another Meralco Bolts' star - forward Rondae Hollis-Jefferson (201-F/C-1995). Hollis-Jefferson got into 30-points club by scoring 34 points in the last round. He went also for eleven rebounds and five assists. He was another key player of Meralco Bolts, helping his team with a 92-74 easy win against #4 ranked Macau BB. Bolts needs these victories very badly if they think about taking over top position in the standings. Their record at this point is 2 victories and 2 lost games. Hollis-Jefferson has a very solid season. In 4 games in East Asia Super League he scored 24.0ppg.
